yea it was a great night of fights. I knew GSP was going to dominate the fight no matter where it stayed. OSP's stanky foot was pretty sick too.

this weekend is the fight i'm most hyped about this year, with probably the two most purely skilled boxers in the world facing off. there's unfortunately a bit of a size/age difference that could end up making it one-sided in favour of loma, but even so this is a once in a generation chance to see two otherworldly boxing wizards share the ring. two of the greatest amateurs who ever lived, with a combined record of 859 wins, 13 losses. can't wait.

fuck yes, going to catch this on ESPN. I've kind of been out of the loop lately but looks like most people are saying Lomachenko is gonna take it.

he's 29 to rigo's 37 and naturally two weight classes bigger than rigo (rigo's had to move up to his division, too), so definitely the big favourite yeah. you can never count out rigo though, dude is a defensive wizard and he's more of a proper pro in terms of knowing all the dirty tricks haha. he also has longer reach than loma. i'm really hoping it's gonna be competitive.

size and age difference were probably factors here but yeah, i don't really see a bigger, prime rigo doing anything against THAT either. he's just utterly ridiculous.

had to step out for a little bit but i just got home and im about to load the bong up and watch the fights. I saw that one kid get knocked out by Diaz in the opening fight though.

Ive seen Rigodeaux fight plenty of times but i'm not sure if i've seen Lomchenko fight before.

it was cool, either Lomachenko is that good or Rigo fell off since the last time i'd seen him fight. Loma was straight toying with him.
