wtf, how have i never heard of that guy? Did he fight in/under K-1? Don't know if his hands down kick-happy style would have worked against todays K-1 fighters, but that was a pretty awesome highlight reel.

He fought in kickboxing, not K1 though. I think K1 started right around the time he retired. Entertaining, but like you said sloppy with the hands.

And here's my favorite K-1 fighter of all time.....

MOTHERFUCKIN' BEAST. 100% pure fighter right down to the bones

You ever watched lowlight tv on youtube? Some guys just look absolutely unbeatable sometimes, but other times...

Really not trying to post that to piss you off, just find it fascinating.

@KrowNo one said Hari is unbeatable.

I've been following Badr Hari forever, i know he has losses. All the greats in K-1 have lost, or even worse been knocked out. Their chins(and being able to bounce baqck) is what separates them for the rest of the combat world. Doesn't mean much though really, especially in K-1 where ALL the greats have been knocked out. Especially considering the fact that he has annihilated almost everyone he has lost to. Still doesn't change the fact that he is the most REAL fighter in K-1 history .... and i dont think anyone that follows the sport will argue that. Just shows that you dont know shit when it comes to K-1. Link me the greatest fighters in K-1 history(ill give you a hint, the first guy i posted sits at the top of that list), maybe then you will learn a thing or two about the sport.

Every person on that list has been knocked out. And also, Badr has knocked out every opponent he has faced from that list.

Don't know what all the crying is about. I think Canelo won the first three rounds and the last three. He even kind of rocked him in one of the middle rounds. You cant beat a champ like that, so i wouldnt have complained if they gave him the split decision loss either. But this is faaaar from the robbery everyone is making it out to be. And lol at GGG complaining about Canelo not fighting "the mexican style". That said a lot tbh.

Oh and Adele Dirty Byrd needs to be fired asap. 10 fucking rounds to Canelo? i wonder how much money De La Puta greased her with.

Oh man, that Gokhan Saki fight delivered. I was worried it was going to be another Couture vs Toney.

Yeah but they gave a top level K-1 fighter someone who was going to be dumb enough to actually stand up with him. It was supposed to be an easy peasy win. I'm actually kind of surprised that he had some trouble in that fight. It was a pretty exciting fight to watch, but i was not impressed at all tbh. If his opponents was someone who had heavier hands or more power, he would have been KO'd for sure.

Yeah, I don't see him doing well if he keeps climbing the ladder. His takedown defense wasn't bad though, but that was also when he wasn't completely gassed after 4 minutes.

he ate some good shots right before he threw out that wicked left hook. Looked like he was kind of hurt too. Tbh that divison doesn't even have any legit strikers right now that would threaten him. He would rape the shit out of all of them if they stood up with him. But yeah i dont see him having much of a chance against some of the more well rounded guys there. For example, Cormier would smother his life if they ever fought.

lol i've always liked kudrya tbh, his intimidating staredowns and whatnot are fun. unfortunately he's not very good at the whole boxing thing, he just flings power shots and KOs or gets KOd. whenever he's against someone half decent it's gonna be the latter.

and yeah, while the cards were stupid (trella giving canelo the 7th is just as ridiculous, that was possibly golovkin's clearest round lol - golden boy is alllllllllways corrupt so i'm hardly surprised) the robbery talk for canelo ggg is nonsense, the result was fair. i had it 114-114 when casually watching with a buddy, then i rewatched in slo mo like an autist and had a few rounds different with 8-4 ggg the end result, but it's close as fuck and a bitch to score really, especially the first half of the fight. weighing up a good power shot against a few jabs or whatever, that kind of thing is so subjective, it was nip and tuck for the most part. it was a good fight and i think both of them proved they're among the best of this era, i'd be happy to see it again. jacobs has just signed up with HBO so i'm hoping he can get in the mix again too, i think jacobs canelo would be a really interesting fight down the line.

i was pretty hammered when watching it, but after watching it again i still have it 6-6. If anything maaaaaybe the 3rd was Golovkins so it could be 7-5. And the 7th clearly belonged to GGG. But yeah. great fight.

Dude did you know Darchinyan is still fighting? his opponent was such an obscure can that i literally cant find a single piece of info on him on the web

that just came out of nowhere haha. not that corrales is very good tbh, he got dropped twice by a guy with 13 losses last fight. think he only got the title 'cause he happened to catch the long term boss of the division uchiyama just as he was becoming shot.

https://twitter.com/leewylieboxing/status/922089620246056961 this also happened this weekend. there's a cruiserweight tournament going on with pretty much all the top fighters in it, it's been a refreshing change and all the favourites won their quarter finals, which sets up a pair of excellent semis. the favourite is a very skilled ukrainian called usyk who may become a force at heavyweight one day, but the guy who got that body shot KO may be a threat, and he's facing a cuban with a 100% KO ratio in his semi. should be fun. cruiser has been a lowkey great division for a while, mainly because there's not enough money in it for fighters to start ducking each other and chasing paydays.

i saw a replay of cerrone getting his ass kicked too, that was pretty funny. he should probably stop fighting every other month.
