Hi,

Again I'm looking for some new stuff to expand my CD-collection. I'd like some innovative open minded music, with intelligen lyrics, that are not too much metal-cliché(i.e "Hail satan", "I am so evil", "Slaughter,Slaughter"). Not that I don't like such musik, I'm just not looking for it Right now.

Hope you undersand what I mean. Heres Some Stuff I like:

Opeth, Pain of Salvation, Dream Theater, Maudlin Of the Well, Dredg, Pocupine Tree, Meshuggah, Katatonia, Dark Tranquillity, The Tea Party, Nile, Dimmu Borgir(yes I know this is cliché ), Dillinger Escape Plan

So, maybe you got some recommendations.

Try "I Am So Evil"s 'Slaughter, slaughter' from the album 'Hail Satan'.

Alternitively there is Tool, Cynic, Martyr, Green Carnation, Divina Enema.

I don't listen to the lyrics, but none of these bands are really LETS SACRIFICE VIGINS TO PIGMY HIPPOPOTAMI bands.

Sure, how could I forget Tool. LTE is great either.
I listend to a sample from Martyr, but I don't like the vocals at all.
