I have been listening to a lot of Symphony X lately having just bought tickets for there show here in July & have over 20 cd's w/Jorn so I know there voices. I'm listening to Allen/Lande now & I think the reason I had a hard time telling them apart at 1st is the songs themselves. These songs sound more like Jorn tracks then anything Russell has done IMO.
Check out "Ask You Anyway" "Hunters Night" & "Universe Of Light" I can see Jorn singing these on one of his cd's but not Russell, They sound like Jorn songs. On the songs sung together if you follow the lyrics in the booklet it is easy to see who is singing what by separation of the lyrics according to whom is singing.
Great cd! excellent songs by Magnus. He has tendency to underplay his part on all his works by naming the cd's after the singers or using a band name (Starbreaker) but he deserves more recognition. Also nice job by Jaime on drums. Realy looking forword to the next cd.
PS does anybody here have the cd magnus wrote for Tony O'Hora?
