k, here you go....without recto this time

mk4

all of them are leadchannel with almost the same settings, just very minor changes (which with this amp can already change the tone dramatically).
some with the rocker switch in the back on "harmonics", some with it on "mid gain", some with TS, some without.
some sound really shite, some sound really cool (I like "double3-nots-harmonics", "double4-nots-harmonics", "double-nots-midgain" and "quad-nots-midgain" for example)

Very nice tones dude!

I actually like the clips without the tubescreamer MUCH better! I personally think the Mark series are tight enough on their own. The Mark series and Engls to me don't need tubescreamers.

My favorite is the first one, "double-nots-harmonics."

Yup, the non-TS ones are my faves too - and jesus christ, I was going through each, and like "yup, uh huh, all similar, yup", and then quad2-nots-harmonics came in, and good christ what a difference for the better; making me feel awfully insecure about something in my DI chain Lasse! :erk: All of those just sound so much more saturated and full; do you think it's the quad-tracking? And what guitar did you use? I'm telling you I played those DI's plenty hard and the pickup was really close to the strings, so neither of those are factors, but DAMN... :waah:

EDIT: Also, they're louder, which helps, but still...

Actually, now I don't feel so bad, cuz double-nots-harmonics and double-nots-midgain are WAY better; the other doubles are all super undergained IMO!

haha, your DI is perfectly fine dude! or I wouldn't be using it :).
I could upload the DIs if you want, chain was: pickboy st-4 stons ( :D )--> ESP Customshop MII with 18v 85--> API Hi Z in--->Apogee-->PT

Haha, thanks for putting my mind at ease, and yeah, having those DI's would rule! Also, which type of Pickboy Stone pick do you use? A quick search showed that they seem to have a bunch (Agate, Jade, etc.)

I'm using the st-4 agate.
you have to order a bunch and send the ones back which you don't like, cause some are a bit thinner than others (not by much, but you can feel it). I prefer the thin ones.

I'll see if I can upload the DIs later

double-nots-midgain and
quad2-nots-harmonics for the quad ones are my favourites
id tame the honk (which doesn't seem quite as prevalent on other ones) on that quad clip a bit if i was mixing something with these files, but that top ends so much more open sounding
good stuff
