Yes, I bought one of these today:

Not sure why. It was shiny and came with a free box. It has small rubber pads that you can hit and stuff.

In all seriousness, it'll come in very handy for when I'm buggering about in Reason. I'll let you know how I get on.

i saw a demo of that box (M-Audio Trigger Finger) on the CD-Rom that came with the new Future Music (the one with Adam D. on the cover) and the guy playing it was an awesome finger drummer.. lol.. no kidding.. he was great.. it was an impressive demo. so i tried one out myself at Guitar Center today and it seemed pretty fun... gives you hardware drum-machine type conrol over Soft Syths.... i played a Battery2 kit with it... fun stuff.

That's the main reason I got the thing. I find drum programming tedious to the extreme, and this will hopefully add a bit of fun to the process. I'm a pretty mean finger drummer too :)

I was up until 3am with it last night. Works like a charm.

That video rules! LOL...

Lee, I've been meaning to ask you for a while. If you're "Bad A.I.D.S.," is there such a thing as "Good A.I.D.S.?" It's kind of like Dark Funeral. I think they missed the point that names like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest were supposed to be ironic. :dopey:

If you ever get the chance to see the UK show Brass Eye it'd make sense. It's basically a fake news / media show. There was one part where there's a "Jerry Springer" style spoof, and they've got a gay guy in the audience to talk about his illness.

The presenter is wearing a blue ribbon to support "those people with 'good AIDS', who caught the disease from no fault of their own'". It turns out that the guy with AIDS caught it from his boyfriend ("so you've got bad AIDS??? What if someone came into the studio with a machine gun, shot you to bits and got your bad AIDS blood in their mouth???"), and the presenter and audience turn on him, booing him out of the studio... It's funnier when you watch it..

In fact just by the DVD of the whole series. The Paedophile episode is amazing, especially the part when they get Phil Collins involved in their fake anti-paedo campaign ("It's all total 'Nonce Sense'").
