Shit happens. What I'm more concerned about is why this isnt in the FAQ... this was talked about a lot some months back.
eh? i shouldve performed a search then. sorry.

Whoever did the typeset on Morningrise had to have been stoned the entire time. All of the errors (countless of them) are downright embarrassing. Orchid has a few too, but nowhere near as bad.

I heard of someone who bought a re-issue (i forget what cd, think still life) and she said it had christmas music on it. No Opeth, just crappy Christmas music. It was a legitimate disc as well, not a bootleg. She was going to go complain to the record store, but I told her to keep it cause it might be worth money someday.

Strange....

i just think its sort of a "rare" sort of deal (obviously). i mean "rare" in a cool, colector's sort of way. i know that a mispelled word on the mornigrise album wouldn't alter whats on the disk. but i do suppose that the still life deal would really suck if you were expecting to plop the cd in and tear through the moor.

While it would seem like a waste of money--sometimes a bad pressing like that can eventually get valuable. I've even heard of stuff like that selling on eBay, although I'm not that much of a collector so I'm not exactly sure how much it would be worth. I guess you'd have to research into just how many mess-ups like that occurred.
