Does anyone have anythign to add, or am I going to have to work this one out on my own?

From what I can tell he's one of the guys that used to be in Emperor and who got into electronic music and is now cross-over. What I've heard sounds very interesting, as long as you aren't biased against any music that isn't "true" metal.

His music's pretty good though. "Dark Ambient" or "Darkwave" or "Symphonic Black Goth Electronica" so I understand. Except apparently his lastest album is a departure from style, and his troo fans hate it.

It doesnt sound like my kind of thing, but good luck to him, maybe if he is successful he will encourage more Trolls to take up music.

I have been meaning to check his stuff out. I wanted to get Stargate, couldn't find it anywhere... I found Smell of Rain but it was too expensive...

I'll just download some stuff and see if I like it.
