Grohl is at his best when playing riffs and screaming. Well actually, he is at his best behind a drumkit, but thats beside the point. I was looking at the cd today and would have bought it if I wasn't scraping dollars for my holiday in a few weeks.

I actively disliked them until their previous album, when they started growing on me. Surprised by how good Wasting Light is.

I also have a classical piece that I'm writing for submission to an orchestra , has to be done by the 19th of this month , so pretty busy which is good in comparison to last year .

All three kick ass as expected.

Equal parts unsurprising and unfortunate is Queensryche's new album which should have been called "Kleevlynd Zteemah". I think it's safe to say we've now got 2011's "Road Salt Part 1".

Wow. I'd even go as far as to say... fucking wow.

How can an album which sounds that good on first impression still get so much better with time and repeat listens?
