Probably Charlie - very talented guitarist as well as being probably the best drummer on the planet (on par with Lombardo mind you).

Though Danny is a fabulously skilled guitar player.

Anthrax has always had talanted people on-board. Can´t pick a favourite because I love them for their songs.

there all talented but Frank is my fav. I love his sound and the licks he uses. bass is such a major part of the thrax sound. such as on among the living

I think it's all about Joey and Charlie, but Scott also has a very unique approach to riffing which cannot be copied easily, though he lost that touch on the recent albums which sounded far more generic....

Charlie...maybe one of the best drummers ever....He's up there with Peart and well Bill Bruford...other than that....Lars is good but not great...now Dave Lombardo is awesome but I think Charlie is better.

Lars and good don't belong in the same sentence. Have you ever seen him live?

I guess one must give Joey credits for playing drums and singing at the same time... but I wouldn´t rank him as one of the standout musicians in Anthrax (John neither), the crown clearly belongs to Charlie.

Hi guys - a newbie on the boards, but listening to Anthrax since the Among the Living days.

My vote would go to Charlie, for his percussion work, songwriting and occasional guitar work.

Charlie's the most talented in most people's eyes, but Scott's pretty legendary as well. Didn't Scott write quite a few riffs etc. in the early days? The guy started Anthrax (with Lilker) and SOD, and wrote most if not close to all of Anthrax's lyrics. Plus he's one of the best rhythm guitarists ever! Didn't he and Lilker write the majority of SOD's music and lyrics as well? I know Scott invented Sgt. D.

Joey. He can drum and sing at the same time all the songs.. that's pretty kickass if you ask me because drum parts are complex in anthrax.
