I have actually never gone straight through Reload or St. Anger. But hey, I don't even have time to check out any bands thoroughly (I fucking hope I used that word correctly) before I find another since I'm trying to catch up with you veterans

I love Reload. It's a good album. St Anger is the only bad Metallica album IMO.

Dude, music isn't a race. There's no rush to listen to every band ever, just enjoy yourself, you've got years of metal ahead of you.

I really can't see the point in just getting into as many bands as possible just so you can say you're into them. Surely thats defeating the purpose of getting into the bands in the first place? Obviously that is just my opinion.
