Tears of the Gods" has been selected for the next ProgPower Showcase Sampler CD. The CD is actually a two-disc set featuring both signed and unsigned artists, and the discs are given away for free to all 1,100 festival attendees. Previous compilations have included tracks from Symphony X, Blind Guardian, Edguy, Jag Panzer, and a host of other luminaries from the progressive and power metal genres.

One of America’s most highly praised festivals, ProgPower USA has sold-out for three consecutive years over five months in advance. There is currently a three year wait on the Gold Badge waiting list. Last year ProgPower USA drew fans from 32 states and 12 countries including Japan and Australia. Tickets for the September festival will go on sale April 2 at 10 a.m. EST via all Ticketmaster outlets. Only 900 tickets will be made available to the public. Advance Gold Badges are already sold out."

Congrats. Your music needs to be heard. Many bands from the 2003 sampler CD got record deals by virtue of the exposure from that disk, no doubt.

Hey d.m.

Any time I can turn someone on to Torquestra, I'm certainly happy to do just that!

Definitely many thanks to Chan at Progged Radio; it's unbelievably cool to find a station willing to play unsigned artists! (Not to mention the fact that any station playing Savatage and Angel Dust on a regular basis is okay in my book...)

Many thanks, as well, to the listeners for actually requesting Torquestra and providing the great feedback; were it not for their interest, the ProgPower opportunity may have never come about.
