Ok just listened to it......... it's pretty good. No "Odyssey" but with a name like that - how could you top it?
It sounds like:
The keyboard player practiced his ass off since the last record
The singer realized all those high notes hurt after a while
The record company sent in a "producer"
The engineer went for that super polished sound
BUT - still a very kick ass sounding record. I don't really have any complaints. A couple really catchy ones.
In other news.... I also checked out the new (well, came out in October) Exodus tonight.
Also some very catchy shit going on. So far I think "Children of a Mindless God" is the baddest assed song on there. I am really looking forward to seeing them tomorrow!
