Mustaine on Full Metal Racket

There are tons of nasty rumours like that around, most of them aren't true.

There was a report that Vinnie Vincent played the solos on "Invasion" at half speed and then sped them up, and alot of people believed it because the album isn't tuned exactly in E (he tuned about 1/4 of a step up to get a more ear piercing sound). Yet he played the solos at full speed note perfect on his instructional video and live, and even Dana Strum who hates his guts has said it isn't true, and Dana was co-producing with Vinnie so he would know, and if it were true he would definitely expose him!

Yes, I for one will definately see them.

On a side note, I finally got a friend to download SKOM for me... and the scene with Dave in it.

Why's he so pissed off? He doesn't come off in a bad light. If anything, I had more respect for him.

Ceydn, I think it was because of what they left out rather than what they put in. I'll agree with you, I don't think he came off as a whinger in his section (like he was complaining about) but he also said that they left out a lot of his material...there were things he said in that interview that he'd have liked to have included.

but why didn't he say that to them? He just told them to take the whole scene out.

So it seemed like he didn't like the scene at all.

Did he say that? It's been a while since I read his comments about SKoM. I thought he was upset about the fact that the little bit which was in there made him supposedly look like a whinging git, because they'd left out some more important stuff that he'd had to say...

When he saw the part of the interview they were going to use he said he didnt want them to use it, but they used it anyway. (Dave signed something before the interview saying they could use what they wished of the footage). So naturally Dave is pissed off that they went ahead and did it anyway, even though legally he cant do a thing about it.

I agree about that scene in SKOM, it actually made Dave look good, and then he went and ruined it by acting like a fool after it came out.
