I still can't help but think "chickengreasefingerprints" every time I see the Caparison until my eyes adjust to it:lol: I've really got nothing bad to say about any of them though. I'm still pretty sure I'm going to end up tracking myself down an Admira. One of the trios we're doing in guitar ensemble has me in the 14th position for a good chunk of one of the movements and I'd kill for a cutaway right about now:lol:

what's he going to do when he gets laid?:Smug: Just kidding prog!

oh man! hahah.

yeah, i don't mean to pick on pmp. he's cool.

yeah, I'm cool, don't pick on me! :heh:

Dan, can I fuck your Nylon String?

ummm, no? :p

Same here...hes a cool dude. Unfortunately, chuckles always have to be at someone's expense.

that's ok, people who get offended by teh intarwebz need to have a good look at themselves...

but yeah, I got a new case for one of my guitars... Pics anyone? :p

I've don't know anyone who's actually played one...they're just the hot name right now...can't be all that. I've played so many insanely priced, highly rated guitars over the years, and all of mine...each under 600 bucks(before customizing), blow them away for my hands and ears. I'm completely content in electric guitar land...I would though like a better acoustic...preferably a nylon strin acoustic/electric...I just bought a bunch of music equipment, so maybe in a few months.

My '84 Carvin DC200 is the best guitar I've played...it has recently actually trumped my Jackson. I would not hesitate to purchase a Carvin...I bought this one last year on ebay without ever having played one...it was curiosity that paid off.

One axe I would like someday is a vintage Washburn A-20 without the vibrato tailpiece and the original DiMarzios.

I had a '81 Dean V...I bought it for 100 bucks and sold it for $1000 on ebay...imagine that.

I've been looking at the Carvin 7 string guitars, they look absolutely awesome!

But when I first played a Caparison Horus, it felt so much more comfortable than any other guitar, and at a music tradeshow recently, I was able to play a $5000 Jackson Soloist, and my Horus absolutely craps all over that particular guitar, as well as any other than I've played so far...

I would have to agree with you man, I have a Horus in Black Night Colour and I use it to play alot of different stuff and it feels amazing. The only thing I am not 100% happy with is the pickups (lacking a bit of output imo) and the whammy not really bending as high as I would like if you want to have really low action.

Awesome dude, I was originally looking at the Black Night, but of the 2 guitars that were there, the Scarab played a tiny bit better, so I went with that one... Yeah there perhaps could be a little more output, but I'm very content with it overall.

Are you on the bmusic forum by any chance? Being an Aussie and a Caparison user you should check it out...
