Hello,

A band i recorded this spring released 3 songs from their album which i produced and recorded on their Facebook. You don't have to push that FReAKIN annoying "like" button to listen btw..

They where really good musicians, came well prepared and we ended up having a ball

I think the project ended up being fantastic , for sure the best vocal production i have done. Really slick, american-radio sound if i may say that.
Ended up putting down about 2weeks more job then was intended from the beginning but i always want to do as good as i can so what the heck haha

Not a big fan of this kind of music but the mix sounds great! Love the drums especially

Not a huge fan of the vocal production.
Music is a pretty strange mix of stuff....

Drums sound fantastic. If the guitars had a bit more low end, it would have thickened out the mix perfectly.

50% of the songs have more lowend on the guitars though. I don't know why it didn't translate to a couple of the songs (especially the songs they have posted)
I don't know if you guys feel the same but if you mix a whole cd, some songs turn out a little bit better. Perhaps a 5-7% swing. I don't know
if it is related to the arrangement, playing style etc. But that is how i hear it hahaha. Would have loved to post one of my favorites from the CD, well well

No comments about how the band encapsulates everything that's wrong with the music industry? Usually when you post this I'm thinking "it's not THAT bad". This time I guess it's the other way around, because I really couldn't listen to 10 seconds of the song.

i felt the vocals were a little low for radio use in this mix while the drums stick out.
though i like the drumssound! cool !

Hahah ok man I have totally lost the perspective about their music. I think it is pretty good. Anyway, the thing i strive for is to work with good musicians, music is almost second to that, I can listen to almost everything. And they where really good, came well prepared etc
