My birthday purchases.

Sweet that just makes the 4th that much more kickass.

I am little disappointed to find that this:

As an academic discount for students doesn't exist. You got to be a school. Fucking weak (since it's less than $250 if your a school).

But on a good note I am blasted as fuck right now so it's all goo.d

Holy shit dude, niceness! Is that the Divinity the douchey guy from your area was selling that I saw a few weeks ago?

Yep. This seems to be a better deal than the last one (this head is basically brand new from what I can see/tell).

There isn't a nick on the thing, the logo is clean (no finger smears). The tolex doesn't have that "sitting in a room collecting dust" look.

Seriously nice score. I talked him down to $550 for it.

That Fender isn't a vintage Bassman is it? I can't tell really as I'm not that savvy on vintage Fender stuff yet...it looks like a Bassman almost, but it has 4 knobs per channel and either a reverb or a master volume knob, most Bassmans have 3 knobs per chan so I figured I would ask.

muahahahahahaha

Actually, I read up on this thing today... Fuck me.

All well, I can tell this thing is basically new. There are no marks ANYWHERE. So I feel a little better now. Plus it's hard to find these for some reason, they were selling like a mofo late last year and early this year on HC but now I doesn't find to many.

I was going to open it to see if the legendary duct tape mod existed (I doubt it honestly) but I couldn't because the OT wouldn't clear the frame? :zombie:

Anyhow it's pretty sweet non the less.

The bassman is a late 1970s silverface bassman 100 all handwired. It's been modded though so there isn't really any bassman left in it. Sounds dope as hell though, I just wish I had a soak.

Nice dude - I'd say get rid of that awful D112, but maybe it still could be redeeming as a floor tom mic - even then, you could probably break even if you sold it and got a Beta 52 or an Audix D4 or something, so that'd be my vote

Yeah I would honestly rather have a beta 52 since I get some rock groups as well.

I have 3 bands that want to record in the next 2-3 months. A 3 banger, a 6-7 banger, and a 4-5 banger. So I figure what the heck why not.

I'm moving into a different method for tracking (hopefully) since it doesn't raise my prices a whole lot. I'm probably going to be doing the drum tracking at subcat and the rest at my place. Subcat has much nicer shit for drums so I figured why not (they don't have a D6 though :() thier normal setup is earthworks room mics, akg 414 for OH (I think I would opt for km 184 though just what I like), 57 for top snare, 441 for bottom snare (I would again probably throw this on the floor tom instead and use a sm81 instead), md421 (X4) for toms, and beta 52a for the kick.

Plus a plethora of other cool shit. So I'm gonna ask on Monday if I can make this happen with them, I already had one of the engineers/owners say it was cool but it has to clear all three of them because they each have an equal say as far as what goes down at their studio.
