I cant say to much about Outworld, they seemed ok but I was to busy socalising with the UMOS Crew!!
DC Cooper + friends
They played a Great set considering they were just thrown together and was mostly all acoustic w/ exception of the Keyboards they were pretty tight and it was cool Dargormudshark up on the stage playin ... I am sure we will eventually be paying to see him play progpower someday
Orphaned Land:
Sounded good from where I was sitting but I didnt get and go watch em I was Shooting the shit
Dreamscape:
The Band I was there on Thursday night to see! They Kicked Ass!!! and threw out TONS of promo cds to the crowds! I eventually got to meet the guys before conceptions set and they were extremely nice people!! ... after their set Bryant comes up to me and says "JD I know you like these guys ... But I think they Suck" I was just like "I know I know you think they suck But I love em!" hahaah ofcourse Bryant was shitfaced by that point so it was really funny as hell!
After the bands I had to take a wiz so I ran to the hotel and took care of buisness, went back out to the lobby and ran into wheezer and we went back to the room and ended up Discussing a large number of different topics over popcorn, soda and Ciggerettes till about 3:30 in the morning
Friday:
We ofcourse went up to Chris, Kittys and Pablas hotel which was very cool and I can tell ya looking down that attriem(sp) thing from the 14th floor still gives me chills!!! we had great fun hahaha
Manticora:
Manticora Kicked Fucking Ass!!! Lars Larsen came across like a Bay Area Thrasher!!! Singing his ass off and Headbanging like crazy!!! I was looking very forward to these guys and they really delivered the goods!!! I highly HIGHLY HIGHLY Recomend these guys!!!
Circus Maximus:
hahaha More like Boring Maximus! I skipped out on these guys about 1 song in and went down to the Vendors to buy some Manticora!!!! While I was down there I bought 3 of their albums that I didnt have and then Met the band! they were absolutely psyched about the crowd reaction and how many cds they were selling after the set, and they were so pleased when they saw the 3 cds in my hand and were telling me which ones were the best and stuff they were like kids in a candy store in a way there dreams had come true that night and it was nice to see and be apart of

Brent and I Skipped em in favor of Hanging out with the Most Excellent and cool dudes of Symphorce and Kitty and Pabla ofcourse..We hung out Shot the Shit and took pictures! its safe to say they we were all pretty excited hahaha
Conception:
Conception was Awsome! I didnt know many of thier songs but they were Great and had alot of fun up there!
Angra:
Angra was Bad the guys played good but it all just sounded bad I lasted 4 songs at the most and went out to Socialise .... I honestly cant remember much that happened after that .... I believe I was to stoned to remember now
Saturday:
Saturday mornin we got up Brent phoned tagged and we went to Abdulla the Butchers resturant With Bryant and Harumii and Narcosystesis and Kat and several others, it was Awsome!!! the place is a pro wrestling fans dream come true! great Food and cool pictures and Championship belts on the walls! I had a great time in there!! I have to get Wicked Child to come to this fest just so he can eat at Abdullas!!! after that I cant remember what we did hahaha so back to bands!
Stride:
Great Musicians ...... Boring as death .... Me and Brent went out for smokes and drinks before Symphorce!!!
Symphorce!!:
SYMPHORCE KICKED ASS!!! they were the absolute best band of the weekend!! I totally let loose and went insane for these guys!!! Andy B. Frank is one of the Greatest Frontmen of Modern Metal!!! and the Band Played their Asses off, A very good set my only disapointment was they didnt get to play longer .... which actually goes for Manticora too!
Pink Cream 69:
These guys were Very Good I didnt skip out on em!
Therion:
Skipped em We were Hanging out with Lars Larsen of Manticora at this point I believe .... hes a Hell of a nice guy! and Brent and I had a good conversation with him .... and the Biff Billford thing was hilarous!!!
Stratovarius:
The therion and strato sets bleed together since I skipped both ... Near the end of Therion I ran into the Symphorce boys and bought Cede a very expensive drink (Redbull and Vodka..9 Dollars!!!) which he payed me back for thankfully and we shot the shit for a while and then I ran Into The Drummer of Sym Sascha and we shot the shit for a while and therion got done and the crowd rushed out so we hit the bar I bought him a Beer and we shot the shit for a long time very cool guy!! I ended up refering to him as my new best friend hahaha it was fun I also got to Talk with Andy real quick and I told him they did a great job and was Proud of them and stuff and he shook my hand put his other hand on my shoulder and thanked me for my support ... it was cool because it was so honest ... hahaha I dont think I could explain needless to say he is a cool dude!! .... so eventually they closed down the bar area down there and we all cramed into a Ford Explorer or something like that, Skeleton crew was driving and the Symphorce guys all had the seats which left Kitty, Myself and Pabla Crammed into the rear cargo area Needless to say it was a fun ride Painful at times but very fun hahaha and we headed to the georgian terrace once there we Drank and smoked and passed the camera around taking candid shots and then dined on fine Pizza After we monkeyed around for a while it came time to go and sleep to be ready for the Long day of Flying ahead So I hugged my Good Friends Kitty and Pabla goodbye and Crammed into a Cab with Symphorce which was cool! hahaha we dropped them off I shook all thier hands Told tem goodluck on the tour and to have a safe trip and got back to the hotel just intime to catch Brent before he left! I was very glad I did I would have regreted not catching him we said our goodbyes and what not and he went to catch his flight and I attempted to sleep, that worked for about an hour ,maybe 2 I mostly watched tv untill about 10:30 when I called up Bryant and shot over to his Hotel I was very glad to get to say good bye to those 2 too and the rest is pretty much travel hahaha ... bleh to much typing I am sure there are things I for got that I will add ... I had the time of my life down there!!! everybody from this Forum HAS to go it would be the best party!!
EDIT: I knew I forgot something!!! ... Saturday night before I ran into the Symphorce guys again I was doing some last minuete(sp) cd shopping and this fellow says to me "Hey Do ya want a Signed poster for free?" it took me only a split second to realise that I was talking to the one and only MEFlyingV guitarist for Overlorde I was like "Hell yeah I do!" so I introduced myself and told I knew him from his posts here and as hes signing it he asks me if I like Overlorde and ofcourse me being Honest as always told him yeah kinda I had heard the Snow Giant disc a few times and then with some great Selling technics he twisted my arm and convinced me to buy his Solo album and Overlordes Return of the Snow Giant and then signed both of them! then we chit chatted for a few moments and I told him not to be a stranger on the forum ... I particularly liked the message he wrote for me on the G.W.A. disc "Jonny D Rules!" it will be something I cherish for a long time Thanks Mark!!
