Sorry to do this. I know people will probably think this is annoying, but so be it. I just joined a "Thrash & Roll" band named Adder. I'm pretty damn excited about this because they are just releasing an EP and the future is looking very bright for the band.

So this is my first attempt in promotion... let me know what you guys think.

still goin. i'm enjoying this a lot... the guys are really cool. and the new shit they've been writing is like... led zepplin meets mastodon. its pretty cool.

Listening to this .. hmmmmm

Was this the band that played at the "nj metal fest" with the dude with the dimebag guitar?! *holds off further comments for now*

yep that was them. they kicked their bass player out in june i think? they've been trying out a bunch of people and they finally decided to pick me.

i'm having fun with it, a different style for me to try and write to. should be fun. they actually won a battle of the bands hosted by 94.1 WYSP (Philly rock radio station) and for that they're owed an opening slot on a national show at the electric factory... so they get to choose which show. so we get to open up at the electric factory! haha... where all the "big" metal shows come around in philly.

Definitely Matt Barlow, Warrel Dane and John Rzeznick.

I give a chance to Hansi Kursch, Mr. V, Ronnie James Dio, Mikael Akerfeldt, Chuck Schuldiner too.

Their guitar sound is crushing. What kind of setup?

i know he uses a marshall half stack. i believe he keeps that clean though and his sound comes mainly from the pedals her uses. not exactly sure of which pedal he uses though. he's got a pretty sweet setup.

Seeing them live, the lead singer even tried his best to be Phil Anselmo, complete with the deep voiced drunken mumblings. Hilarious.
