It's all good dude, the only thing I would back off on a little in future but still retain "your sound" is the mastering, it still sounds a little too squashed to me, but other than that the scoopage is justified. Can't wait till this comes out!

I love the sound dude, hearing people get productions that great is an inspiration for me, as I'm just starting trying to learn how to engineer.

I just hope I can get good enough in a matter of months... probably not, but I'll work (and read!) my ass off and give it a shot I really like the epic synth in the background, what did you use for that?

DUDE, every song has the most EPIC clean vocal choruses and some other surprising things. the vocals all around on this record are just ridiculous...!

Out of the 8 songs only ONE doesn't have and cleans... but it's also the heaviest song on the album and features some guest vocalists!

The synth I have NO clue what was used. Like I said, I rolled with all the sounds I was sent! Of course I processed it quite heavily and I think I added slowly modulating pitch effect that is an octave down from the original track and it swells up and down, in and out, left to right, etc.... =D

Glad i'm not the only one who noticed this......

I think all your mixes have a hole in the low midrange section. Do you really scoop those guitars hard with post eq?

Also your mixes can be a bit on the fatiguing side when you listen for any period of time. Seems like the 2.5k is really pumped up. Maybe it's the scooped sound that makes those high mids just cut so hard. Maybe i'm just crazy.

This mix is still sick as fuck and the production you did is amazing.

CJ loves him the fuck out some 2.5k literally he lives off it.

I'm listeing to the two new songs on my laptop (the FINAL FINALS) and god they sound way better than I thought. I'm always terrified to listen to my own stuff outside the studio.

i hadn't had a chance to really even listen to the FINAL FINALS. I actually did a small revision for them about an hour before I had to leave for a 4-day holiday!

Stop getting high on ...err... high-mids and get some of the other kinds of mids in there

Once again, I don't mean to diss your work, I have the best intentions, but since you've gotten enough positive feedback to sleep well, I'd say it sounds so thin and harsh I can't listen to it for more than 3 seconds and that's a shame because I really want to hear all of that effort and automation you put into it.

I'm sure you're not doing it intentionally. I imagine it has to do with your monitors and/or room. I think I saw HS-80 on some photo, why not try mixing with the high trim(>2khz) on +2db and the room control|(500hz) on -4 db?
