They're both two of the sweetest beasties I've encountered. Gabe (the dog) is so entirely atypical for a canine. And Nemea (the cat) is ferciously affectionate. Here's another

The heart-breaking part is they both technically belong to my girlfriend even though we got both animals together. We just recently broke up, and even though I'm effectively okay with things between us, when she moves out in three months it's going to kill me to see them go.

I hear you there man. When my g/f moved out I had to say goodbye to my puppy Lars, i rarely get to see him now :(

He was my pet as a kid, but when i moved outta home a long while back, he had to stay with my folks...i visit him whenever i can, even tho he's getting auld now!

I know she's wonderful with both of them and they'll be quite fine, but I alredy miss them. But I agree. A lot of my view on people is affected by the way people treat animals, particularly pets, and how such pets respond to said people. :goggly:
