Hey Matt

Have you thought about making an offical myspace page for Theocracy?
Whether one like myspace or not it would be good IMO to have Theocracy there to help get the band more known and for fans to add to friends etc...
I know you might not ever have the time for whatever reason, but this is just a suggestion...Even if you only ever post there occasionally for band updates etc it would be good i think for us fans especially.

What do you think matt?

Now playing: My Silent Wake - Shadow of Sorrow

Theocracy from Greece....LOL

Hmmm....well i would add this as a friend but i'd rather wait til Matt says anything about it or whether he recommends an official Myspace page be done?

I think it would be highly beneficial if Theocracy did have an official myspace page - at least set up by Matt or someone he approves of?
And like i said in my first post Matt would only need to maybe update it at least once in a while if he wishes?

In my opinion, it is crucial for a band to have an official myspace page. To not have one = losing potential fans.

Even if the band just has someone else run it for them if they don't have time (like Crimson Glory has one of their diehard fans/friends run theirs), that's enough.

Yeah, I kinda hate the whole myspace thing for some reason. It just seems really highschool and teenybopper to me. But I agree, it is what it is nowadays, and we'd probably do well to have an official one. I definitely won't have time to mess with it, but maybe I can find someone else to get it together...

I know what you mean Matt - about the Myspace site being full of a lot of teeny boppers atmosphere and that type of thing, but it can be avoided.

I'm linked to a lot of great metal bands etc ...eg Pyramaze, Rob Rock, John Petrucci, Once Dead, Tourniquet,Deliverance etc........ It's useful for plenty of metal bands and it's easy to just stay in the world of metal/music etc ....and never even come into contact with the whole 'teeny bop' world. I only came into the Myspace world through a few metal bands inviting me a couple of years ago, and i tend to stick to the music world for my Myspace contact.

As long as Metalmilita has offered and now lives 4 miles from me, I'll throw my hat in the ring, too. If you want the MN boys to administer it, he and I can tag-team it. Between the two of us, there'd always be someone available to take care of business.

Hey all,

I started a "Fans of Theocracy" group on Facebook. Please be on the lookout for it & sign up!

Not sure if it works to post a URL, but here goes:

Facebook | Login

otherwise just search for Fans of Theocracy and that should allow you to find the group. It's global, so anyone should be able to join.

Thanks!
Sue

I'm not on facebook sue... Hahaha, oh well. I wanna meet up with you guys when I come back next week, at least just to say hey.

Yeah - even though myspace has its detractors - it seems to be full of 3 types of folks - bands, teens, and porn stars (or wanna bes). But it has certainly sent our band lots of hits.

I'm not sure if any have really done anything for us - but every new movie, tv show, actor, product (State Farm has a myspace page) understands that it's good - not to mention free - promo.

So - if you guys need a hand - I've had myself, my band, and several of my websites on myspace - I'd be happy to help as well.

I've helped with a few others, and have one or two more, but can't remember all of them off the top of my head. :)

Thanks!

Hey, I am new here and I just want to let you know I think you make some truely great music and I love the message that goes with it.

On the topic of the thread I'd agree, having an official myspace would really help the fans stay up to date with the band, and more importantly help expose the band to potential fans.
