Name bands you just can't stand

I have no problem with fans of the bands that brought European metal to the US like Maiden and Priest, but Accept was simply better than those bands. The bad thing about Accept was that a three-chord anthem they wrote namely "Balls to the Wall" was what the media chose to send to America as a video and single. Accept was epic, powerful, progressive and intense. They offered a technical rythm section with a blistering dual guitar attack and vocals that hammered you into oblivion.
Basically what I am trying to say is that Accept was way ahead of their time and though huge in Europe, they never reached the American fans BECAUSE they were too heavy. I found this post while trying to look up one of mine and trust me, though I am not a particular fan of CoB, I am a little familiar with their music. My intention is not to bust the balls of the poster who made the statement (as he may not know the meaning of Accept's intentions of the lyrics) but rather to share with all you metal head brethren just how much Accept kicks ass. Accept may not be as "heavy" as say early Slayer, etc. but they have some songs that have so much intensity, it makes you want to "break shit."
I now return you to your regularly scheduled program, and as I said, I'm not trying to dog the poster here or bother all of you CoB fans. I'm not a spammmer I just respect the kick-ass music Accept left for the world so much, I wanted to add my $0.03.

You, stupid, I never ever said Accept was (is) gay. I said gay metal like Rhapsody in my list of the things that I hate. Maybe, if you could read the right way, you would have noticed that Accept, Blind Guardian and the other bands that are written after the statement gay metal like Rhapsody are not included in this qualification. They would be gay if I said "gay bands like Rhapsody, Accept, Bon Jovi, etc." with the statement in the first place, which would have "contaminated" the full sentence. If it's not in the first place it becomes a subordinated object to the enumeration with no power to modify its meaning. Obviously, if you can't read correctly you may misunderstand what I said.

I hate any band that starts with "The", along with any band with a number in their name, or any band whose name begins with a preposition, also any band whose name begins with a verb ending in "ing", like the new emo sensation, "Fucking my boyfriend up the ass".

Bands I dislike: Godsmack, KoRn, etc.. most punk bands [with a couple of exceptions.] Chick bands like, uh, Kittie and Lillix [WTF?] AC/DC, Audioslave.. any new wave bullshit/nu metal.

CREED!!!! When will everybody realize this is the most irrelevant mindless boring music out there. Totally uncreative and repetitive, and most of all, fuck scott stapp.
 
I cannot say that I would hate any band, but...I dislike bands and artists like Britney Spears, Giant Robot, Avril Lavigne, Beyoncé, Sugababes, The Rasmus, Telecs, Scandinavian Music Group, Velcra etc.etc. There's of course hundreds of songs that I can't stand but I won't even start to list them. :)

For example Incredible Nothing (what a name). Had enough of this
wannabe-punk-band; actually their music is just pop... I just hate all the bands who pretend to be something they are not.
And some "metal" (?) bands as well... I was very disappointed in Machine Men and Sub Urban Tribe, just to name few.
This is only my opinion ;)

But are all these posers worth of loathing? :err:

There is not an adjective describing the bands you mentioned after Rhapsody, as you simply used commas after Rhapsody. I think it is fair to conclude that you were describing all of the bands you mentioned after them as being "gay metal." If that is not the case, than so be it, but I am hardly stupid. I think my reading skills are quite competent.

Hey no problem.... everyone has different tastes. What some people do not realize is the band was quite epic and technical. Their problem was that one of their few "three chord anthems" namely "Balls to the Wall" is what they were judged by because it was what was released as a video for the American public. Still they aren't for everyone and this is not there forum, so I won't write an essay on why I thiunk they kick ass. >:p~
