Me and a few friends are going out on friday 26th oct. we have been a few places over the years. ie slimelight (london) beerkeller (bristol) and the villa (bournmouth). we are out celebrating two birthdays that are close to each other, and want to go out to a place that is beta than yeovil,eh somerset, eh south west, eh the earths a***hole. What im trying to say is...... we want to go to somewhere in england that is gurenteed a really good metal night out (open to as late as poss, but not essential) Do you know the place? as we are finding it hard to go somewhere that is REALLY metal!!!

Please help:worship:

Sadly thats our problem. we cant find a good metal night out....... the scene still exists so there must be somewhere decent to go! (god i hope so) you not a fan of metal? whats a good nite out for you then?

I am a fan of metal, but there isnt much out there for metalheads I find. There used to be a club here in Portsmouth that played metal, although pretty mainstream, but that got new owners and turned into some reggae, nig club. But apart from that you get alternative nights in clubs such as Route 66, but that is basically the odd Metallica song, Pantera sing, then Bon Jovi, and the like, so its hardly metal.

Leave England, it would be the most metal thing of all.

I heard Germany has metal bars, but it's all hearsay (never been to Europe).

Bon jove = rust not metal. seems there is no where to go these days (sound like im,..... old) dam i need some where to go. i aint going out on my 20something birthday to a trance cyber goth club again (oh the painfull memories)

sadly one of us has no pass port. but have heard sweden and denmark and germany have really good metal. but in my opinion the most metal thing to do is start a band and change the emo/pop way, that this country has become.

Hungary has one apparently.

My mate went there to see his brother, and it was playing a mixture of good stuff and local hungarian stuff. Not really related to the point, but just saying seeing as someone mentioned Germany. Makes hella big burgers too.

hmmm makes me hungary. lol. y does every state in the eu have beta music than us....... poland produced decapited, we produced evenesecne and mcfly........... ok bad example of metal

london? slimelight has a trance nite (oh my favourite)other than that i know nothing

Britain has some fantastic metal, we easily rival most other European countries for extreme metal, and there's no doubting our heavy metal pedigree in the 70's and 80's.

lol........ like the way there is 20 yrs between our "pedigree" and now..... we do have some good music but no where to go........ go to say this now as still LMAO after reading it. been looking on other forums and someone rates fall out boy as "metalcore/heavy metal" lol my self to sleep....... i had to check on youtube who "fall out boy":worship: were

:p Hey. Don't diss Britain. We've produced such brilliance as Bullet for my Valentine.

Wait a second...

Thats your fault, you Welsh basterd.

Hey, don't blame me. I'm English born and partially bred :kickass:

By the time I got down here Lost Prophets was out, and by that time it was unstoppable. Crappy attempts at rock, and later metal, were already beginning :puke:

Only one solution.

Chip in 30p each, and hire some polish workers to build you a club.

Chip in another 30p each and make them form a band.

Problem solved.
