Hey guys!

I just heard The Pale Haunt Departure and I was comletely blown away. Awesome album. Pretty much liked everything about it, but I especially enjoyed the growls and heavy riffs. Which other album would satisfy my need for that?

slow heavy riffs: to welcome the fade
faster heavy riffs: the novella reservoir

still, get them both :) and then work your way back if you like. the older albums are more doomy.

If you liked Pale Haunt, then definitely pick up The Novella Reservoir next.

After that, I would maybe work backwards (Fade, Knowing, Of Sculptured Ivy, Amid).

And welcome!!! We are a nice bunch of people here, we really are!!!!

Hah, you'd like that wouldn't you? Actually so would I, but I'm not sure if it will happen soon. :(
Right now I'm:
A) Broke
B) Busy checking out the many bands that I've recently discovered
C) Giving Agalloch many spins. :D

.. but who knows. Maybe I can pick it up soon.

Oh you can put that Agalloch away for now, fuck 'em. LOL Just kidding, they're friends of ours :)

If you want to just sample some of what "The Novella Reservoir" has to offer, you can go to our website www.novembersdoom.com or our Myspace page www.myspace.com/novembersdoom and there you can listen to a couple of tunes from that cd ("Rain" and "Drown The Inland Mere") Or you can go to Amazon.com and look it up, and listen to short samples of each song to get a feel of the cd.

or better yet, save up some cash and go see one of the shows in a month! they will play in belgium, eindhoven, and zaandam. so unless you live in the middle of nowhere in groningen or drenthe or something, go and see the show! :D

Damn Agalloch, can't ever get them out of my playlists.

Same with Saturnus. What is it about those guys that make their music so easy on the ears?

Yeah really, fuck those guys. They are awful, disgraceful people... :-)

Hey JWW and I will be in your area (kinda) in July. I don't know how far Chris' studio is from you guys. It would be cool to meet up with everyone for some beers or something if it is possible. All the best to you guys in Europe. It's next weekend, yes?
