I was scanning ebay and I found someone selling a CD by a band called Necrosphere. They're from Mexico. Theyve recorded at Studio Fredman. But Mikael Stanne does guest vocals apparently on this, which I would actually like to hear, anyone know anything about these guys or have some mp3s?

@chaos: Do you know anything about this band?

The song with Mikael is called "Inside Reality" and it wa recorded in February 2002, so I guess Mikael was in the studio at the same time for the Damage Done session.

Looks like they had fun with Niklas and Mikael

Weird coats

Ormir: How does Mikael sound on it? Is his performance more akin to Damage Done or the older days? Any clean vocals?

And no, I didn't know anything about this beforehand - actually, I first thought this was some kind of joke (Necrosphere?!? I think At the Flames... was a far better band-name)...

His growls are pretty low register and slow, almost spoken, a bit akin to Treason Wall. What Mikael does is more of an intro to the song, lasting about a minute. The song then kicks off into speed with some guy with a terrible Mexican accent for the rest of the song (over 8 minutes long). There are also several "shrieking" parts, where I can hear Mikael's distinctive gurgle along with the Mexican guy. The song isn't all that interesting, just some At the Gates worship with pretty mediocre riffs.

I vaguely recall someone saying in the past about this (that they did guest vocals during the session) but maybe i recalled that for another album?

Anywayz, i want the song Ormir. :)

Well Mikael also did guest vocals for Soilwork, on the song "A Predator's Portrait".
