Inventory all of your gear. Make a spreadsheet with the make, model, and serial number for all of your gear, and if possible, take pictures of your ID or something next to the item w/it's serial number visible.

Kind of redundant and maybe a waste of time, but you will thank yourself if/when any of it gets stolen.

Awesome idea. Problem is I started one last week on my mac and am already 40% through with the inventory of all the shit in my studio.

So I can't fucking stand it. So I have decided to head down to where I interned on Tuesday and see if they can swap off the data I have onto an external HD so I can use my wife's laptop to do some editing (3gigs of RAM, intel dual 2gHz processor).


Playstation has been nice though. So has guitar.
