Need some band names

Hail metal heads..... I've recently slammed into a band named Ensiferum out of Finland. These guys are fucking insane. I love the sound and am wondering if anyone who has heard them could give me names to bands that use folklore rythems to thier music. I have Moonsorrow and am looking into getting some Fintroll as well. So any help would be abused. Thanks.

You've got excellent taste! Ensifurem rules! Both Finntroll and Moonsorrow are similar to Ensiferum, and both are kickass too. If you like that style be sure to check out Kalmah and Insomnium as well.

There's also a Viking Metal band from Sweden called Allegiance, they released 3 CD's on No Fashion records. I really like their first album called "Hymn Till Hangagud", it features 2 Marduk members as well (drummer Fredrik and bassist B-war).

Hey is anyone familiar with Lalitu? I am listnening to Unwill off of thier Memorial album and am wondering if all thier stuff is like this? This guy just screams his guts out. Sounds cool.

Well I am pretty open minded and often order band cd's without knowing what they sound like. I think my biggest surprise was when I got my first bal-sagoth album.
