Sorry, but this is a horrible list. Arcturus???? These bands are not suitable for a begginer but for someone who is quite familiar with extreme metal. Most of the bands you listed would not appeal to someone who only listens to Disturbed, Killswitch etc....

Considering the bands he likes, - I assume that he might enjoy Mnemic. I personally do like some stuff by them, even if ppl think that it's shitty.
For some reason I'm also sure that he will love Goatwhore.
And Fanisk are pretty good, btw.
