Yes, I did a thread search, but the thread with the same title turned to complete shit, so I'm starting a new one.:Smug:

Anyhoo, I've had my copy of OM for about 3 weeks now and I must say it's some amazing stuff. The album is like a journey. I'm glad I picked it up. A couple questions, however:

1. Where can I find English tranlations for the complete album?

2. My DVD won't work. Is it coded or does my DVD player suck balls (it's OK, you can say it:Saint:)?

Anyway, it's a great album!!!! Very atmospheric:hypno:!

Negura Bunget is a staple in black metal. Om is absolutely phenomenal, and N' Crugu Braduli is also pretty fantastic.
I have also been searching for english translations, but could only find the song titles translated. Any help would be much appreciated.

did you buy it locally? (in the US, as your profile suggests?) if so, i dont really know what the problem is, but if youve ordered it from europe or something, than its coded for "region 2", and youre DVD player can only play "region 1"... for more details look up "dvd region code" in google or something, that should come up.

PS, very agalloch-ish sound... extremely dark... thanks :)

Negura Bunget are absolutely phenomonal. Love em. when 'n Crugu Bradului came out, i ordered it, and received it with my own transilvanian conifer leaf. Still have that leaf. 'N Crugu Bradului and OM are incredible. But I struggle to enjoy there older stuff. But I think it just needs more listens, because their riffs and music structure are so weird, takes a while to process. I'm impatiently waiting for them to release a new album or something. Although, i'm no help with you questions..

EDIT: I didn;t read the rest of the thread, and did not notice Necropeth using the same adjectives as me.. >.< And 'N Crugu Bradului is a must listen if you like OM.

I saw them live in a very small venue last year, was intense, very cool band. OMs atmosphere is not of this world.

It makes me so proud to be romanian:kickass:
I love NB sooo much, but even for me it is impossible to translate their lyrics, because they use medieval romanian language.
BTW, my favorite albums are 'N Crugu Bradului and OM.

Great to see people in here appreciating this brilliant and unique band, but how in the FUCK do you people find ways to make Agalloch and Bunget have some kind of similarity? Are you fucking tonedeaf or just trying to sound cool?

FFS. THINK you tools. You're comparing apples to oranges.

Agalloch don't share any similarities with Bunget. 'n absolutely destroys, while Om is slightly better 'n is a major raper. Fucks sake I want the new one to leak pretty badly. Everything before 'n is ok, not much of it did much for me tbh, kind like pre Dso- SMRC.

you dont have to bash really..
from first listen, ive got the kind of atmosphere i get while listening to agalloch's AATG.

Om is a regular spin for me, just about every other day probably. One of the more interesting, tremendous albums I've bought in a long time. N'Crugu is pretty brilliant as well. I've seen them compared to Agalloch before, but I really don't see it. They are both top-notch bands, but not that similar in style. Awaiting new NB material anxiously!!!

Actually thinking about it the new Bunget is probably my most anticipated releases left in 08. They are the only band left to release an album this year that have the talent and the potential to beat the year out. Though they have mammoths like Esoteric and Enslaved to contend with. I think they definitely have the potential to beat Watershed, maybe Vertrebrae but The Maniacal Vail? That's another question entirely.

Like has been said, the DVD is more than likely region 2. Official translations into English probably don't exist, as their site hasn't been updated since 'N Crugu came out in 02. Om and 'N Crugu both get regular spins from me, every few days at the least. Absolutely amazing albums.
