I should actually point out that as an employee, i don't really like WORKING there, but shopping there doesn't kill me. but i will NOT shop there for food!!! NEVER!!!

BUT... working there can give you a 10% discount on items you actually want, except food. but that basically just erases the tax.

Ya know... people that DON'T have alot of money or someone that GIVES you alot of money would see your comment as retarded. People that tend to shop at walmart are those that CAN'T buy expensive chairs. They have more important shit to spend money on... like RENT... or FOOD... or GAS to get to work. I'd rather NOT get on your bad side, but your hatred towards Walmart is just fucking stupid. Yes, the furniture is bad. The electronics section has alot of good deals. The sneakers and other clothing aren't bad, either. They have ice cream, candy, and bathing supplies for good prices, too. Complain about Ikea if you want to complain about people buying shitty furniture. Hating Walmart because of $10 plastic furniture is just stupid, because there ISN'T $10 plastic indoor furniture. They actually have DECENT stuff sometimes if you'd actually go in and look.

I dislike Walmart as a conglomerate. They own ASDA here and it's a similar situation. It's fairly cheap but most of the stuff is reasonable. Supermarkets in general worry me. The largest chain here is Tesco and apparently one in every four £'s spent in the UK is in a Tesco. I tend to avoid it for personal reasons, but they sell alot of cheap and decent stuff.
In short, I agree with Will but I can empathise with Karen.

As much as I <3 you Karen I have to side with this. You can also get Beta fishies there. The only fish on the planet that don't creep me out.
Now the people that frequent Walmart on the other hand...Well I prefer the ones in Houston that are filled with poor black and hispanics. If you go out into the country in Texas the Walmarts are inhabited by white inbred trailer trash that practically live there. They worship the Walmart, they are the Walmart.
