That's funny, a dude in my old band looked JUST like Jeff, but with red hair.

Anyway, I agree about Warrel's voice and people's short attention span an'whatnot. At first, I hated his voice. Now, whenever I write lyrics, I can only hear him singing them.

On the Jeff front, when he's on, he's ON. I agree that the last album kind of missed the mark for me, musically, but when he hits the mark very few people can compete with him, as far as I'm concerned. I think him and Warrel are similar in that respect. Sometimes mind blowing, generally rad, sometimes cringe inducing.
