New Amorphis album

Have someone in Finland ordered from NB? If I pre-order, can I get the cd in Finland at the day of relase? Or will it take day or two of extra-delivery to Finland?
And is the shipping payment really 14€ to Finland?

Oh, now I see. "Nightbird's Song" doesn't sound exactly brutal but who knows...

EDIT: The latter half of the chorus of "Mehtä" is something like this:

The night goes around the day
Shadows turn the white into the shades of gray
The sun bids the world farewell

NB's shipping rates are ridiculous. That's why I NEVER shop from them. :fu:

Yeah, I see. Quite unbelievable. I just thought that mailorder edit. Well, I order from Äx as always, maybe they will have some own special edit.

Come to think of it, there is this local company here which offers shipping from Germany. For much less than 14 €, of course. Will have to check if there is any point in going through the entire hoopla or will just shop from the local NB distributor, as I usually do.
Besides, the local distributor usually has the goodies several days before the official release :D

Release date is set to March 1
So, almost Feb 28. :)

Actually Finnish release dates have traditionally been two days before the general EU date, and at least I haven't heard that this has changed in recent times. So the Finnish street date should actually be Wednesday the 27th. You might of course buy it on Wednesday and leave the pleasure of first listening to the morning of Kalevala Day. ;) However, looks like it's just a digital release anyway, and I bet Radio Rock will play it at least several days in advance. I hate that station but will bear with it for the noble purpose.

BTW I think the only special addition to the mailorder edition is the wristband. The digipak as such should not differ from the version sold in regular stores. But we'll see...

In that case I need also to shut down my computer and radio for one day. :)

I understood that the mailorder edition inc. more bonus tracks than normal version.

Yeah, me too. But I ain't giving another 60% on top of the price for shipping. No way, Jose!

Sorry, looks like you're right. Hmmm, might still be cheaper to order the Japanese edition from Victor, they usually come with all possible bonus tracks. ;)

Here's Plan B: "In the case of orders with a gross value of over € 100, delivery to addresses inside Germany shall be postage/carriage paid" > we need only four of those limited edition boxes (plus the cheapest item the store has to offer to cover the missing four cents...) to have them shipped for free to someone living in Germany (one forum member might volunteer, otherwise I have connections there as well) who will then redistribute them at NORMAL shipping rates.

No, it will be March 1st in Finland as well. Our country has indeed moved to Friday:

Jan 18th: Sons of Aeon - s/t
Feb 22nd: Omnium Gatherum - Beyond
Feb 22nd: Stratovarius - Nemesis
Feb 22nd: Eternal Tears of Sorrow - Saivon lapsi

etc.
