Yes it's lame. If I had big amount of money I would buy original cabs, but I've lot of things to buy and I think it's better to not spend all my money in a single cab

i built a straight cab, but i eventually got a slant mesa os cab, for the most part they sounded they same in the room, slightly diff under the mic

I wonder what the sound difference would have been like if you bought a straight cab (slightly less maybe?)

Anyway, I'm also thinking to buy an Harley Benton cab (that I'll customize internally with some tricks)

I've just found a used Engl xxl pro for 600€ and a used Engl pro v30 for 550€...what do you think? I've never heard an xxl (neither samples..)

I'd jump on the Engl Pro V30 (just make sure its the pro and not the standard). I paid almost twice that for mine

The XXL is like the Mesa Oversized Cab.
