There's a link to Floorfish, which is also a decent free VST gate. I got an email from AcmeBarGig last week saying CabEnhance2.0 will be out in a little while, and it should have a noise gate built in (as the previous version does as well), so check out CabEnhance too

LePou great thanks for hard and productive work. I tried this amp with GuitarHacks impulses and this is meat so far. Still have to try how it sounds on other speakers/systems, but first few days impression is very positive. I prefer this amp to anything else for now.

It is used as an insert, but its only the head: you'll need a cab simulator, like LeCab (look for links on this site)

Yep, but he said in the thread i found it in....that he just switches out the amp sim....keeps everything the same. It was a thread comparing the E456, 8505 and hybrid.
