True to the point I'm still confused why they were supporting on the Machine Head tour and placed after Devildriver...
I know Robb Flynn is a big fan of them but...

That video is fucking awesome. Can't stand the mix - super sampley drums with the cymbals so low in the mix make it sound like a drum machine. Music is pretty bad too, but I've liked some of their previous stuff.

Never liked this band. Don't like this new song. Meh. Mix is great, yeah. Muisc - not so much.

Yeah well PTV was all Dan and Kato and neither of them are at the HOL anymore, which is too bad cause they would have done a good mix on this song.

a) Devil Driver probably sell less records
b) record company connections
c) buy-on budget (BMTH probably have more money available for touring and paying for the spot)

Kato never mixed anything before, and Dan hasn't worked with Bendeth for over a year, next. I will wait until the record comes out to make my decision. I think Costey or Baressi could have killed it too.

Did I say Kato mixed it? I did not. Pretty sure he got a producer credit on the album. I got a tour of the studio when they were doing the PTV album and Kato and Vic were tracking vocals so I would say he did something even if he did no mixing on it...

It's kinda funny that ppl are bashing BMTH that much and then we have that other 4page thread Thy art is murder where everyone is cheering which to me sounds like just another generic chuggachugga band with that ugly font. Atleast BMTH brought something new style wise when they came out with Suicide seasons.

Yeah but a lot of the TAIM thread was saying is sounded like generic-ish 2009 deathcore. It was more about Putney's mix.
