NEW BULB SONG, A LITTLE DIFFERENT THIS TIME! (podxt, dfhs, lundgren m7)

Nice work Bulb! Nice to see you here on this forum.

hey i didnt know you were here also!
*runs away scared*

i kid i kid haha, havent seen much from you lately man, have i just been posting in all the wrong forums? The last clip of yours that i heard had such a siick rock sound but that was forever ago!

Thanks Bulb! I don't check out the Line 6 forum much anymore as I get much much more useful information here. In general I have been very busy with school so I don't get to make much music overall.

yeah i used the podxt for both the guitars and bass
the drums were drumkit from hell superior

well, i always thought going straight to the sound card would be better even better with good pres, u're the first person i read who thinks thru usb is better

mine is asio 2.0 too
i cant get less than 5ms and also the clip led indicator on the pod always lighting up...

yeah, i know

mine never pass 12 o' clock when running thru usb, i dont know whats the issue about it

awesome as usual, i think you should try to get away from the pod though. i still think your best tone is on the sonar of engl clip!

haha i actually think the tone in that particular clip is horrible, but i know that i can get overall better results miking my amp, however i cant start miking my amp until i move out of my apt sadly...so its going to be podxt for a while!!

bulb
pleast tell me about your POD tone
what amp/gate/eq-you use??? :beggin:

i use the bigbottom model and the gate on the pod, sometimes i will also use an ns2 in front to tighten things up and i just boost the mids a little on the post eq.

the bass is actually very similar to the guitar patch, just a lot less gain and the bass is boosted

i personally use the 1/4 in jack as well, its simpler and it allows me to use my firepod as my soundcard when recording and mixing which is way better!
