Ok so in the next few days I will most likely be taking a trip to JB or something to get a couple of new cd's.

Any recomendations? Doesnt have to be new stuff...just suff thats good.

Looking for input.

cheers

* Any Savatage except for "Poets & Madmen" and "Fight for the Rock". Leave them til last.

* The Gathering's How to Measure a Planet?. Great stuff!

* Testament's "The Gathering", just because Spawn will say it anyway. It's really quite good.

* Def Leppard's "X". Their best album since "Hysteria".

* Anything by Enchant.

* Anything by Galactic Cowboys, especially "Space In Your Face" and "At the End of the Day".

* Kiss - "Crazy Nights". Accept no substitutes (except maybe "Revenge").

* Any of the early stuff from King's X, especially "Faith Hope Love".

* "Whoracle" by In Flames.

* "Morningrise" by Opeth.

* Journey's "Captured". Great live album.

* "The Sacred Talisman" and "Afterlife" by Nocturnal Rites. Rockin'.

* "Return to Heaven Denied" by Labyrinth.

That should do you for now. :)

Actually yes, if JB here has A Rise to Power I will grab that.

I have the place to myself until newyears eve Tim so Ill get some more work done on your design.

Ill email you any updates.

A Rise To Power is everywhere right? Because I cannot find it in any CD store... I want the buggah...

Buy Opeths newbie, Deliverance... it's pretty cool from what I have heard....

You only have Remedy Lane by POS right Salty?

You need to get The Perfect Element and Entropia. They are equally as good as Remedy Lane. One Hour By the Concrete Lake is a gem as well, but I like the other 3 better.

And get Blackwater Park from Opeth as well :)

Also get the new reissue of Burnt Offerings by Iced Earth with the remixed and remasted tracks. Its the one with the shitty comic book cover thats bright orange :D

I'll also recommend 'Grave Digger - The Grave Digger', but it might not be your thing. Very good heavy German power metal.

If you don't have them already:

'Halford - Live Insurrection' - one of the best albums I've bought in many years. Excellent live album.
Either of Fozzy's albums, for some great covers and some excellent originals as well. Their first album is probably more consistant, but their second has some better stuff on it. Both are great. :)

I also am deeply involved in the world of fusion ragtime hip hop.

Im gonna head off to JB now. Be back in an hour or probably.

Hopefully with Dungeon + (insert whatever i find that looks cool here.)

Ill compile the list of stuff people recommended and take it with me

OK so I printed out the list and fucking walked out the door without it.

So...I went to JB in Mt Gravatt...No Dungeon...and nothing else really jumped out at me...so I left there.

Next stop, CBD. I went to Skinny's...No Dungeon. So I looked around and ended up buying Snow by Spocks Beard. Its been raved on about so much so I thought I would grab it.

After Skinny's I headed to JB in the CBD...after a short stop in at Borders <insert much drooling here>...and again...No Dungeon.

So foiled in the Dungeon scene I looked around a bit and ended up getting Moonbabies by Planet X. Another that had been raved on about both positive and negative so I thought I would give it a shot.

Anyway...noticed that JB had no DVD's in their CBD store...so couldnt look around.

Walked out...and next door..."JB SUPER DVD MEGA STORE"

...ok...in I go.

Look around...and then...NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

OK...I had been wanting to get Operation: LIVEcrime for a while now...and nowhere I had looked had it...and I looked at all the places I was in today, never knowing that the dvd megastore thingy was even there. And there it was. 3 copies. One for the equivilent of each store I went in looking for it previously today. I would have bought it, but that wouldn't have left me enough to pay for parking.

So that is my story. Full of action, drama and despair.

The End

Suspense...umm...I did one of those things where you walk into someone and then you go left...and they go left...and then you go right...and they go right...

That was pretty suspensfull there for a while hehe :)

Which "Snow" did you get - the 2CDer or the 3CDer? I'd like to get the 3er because I'm a completist but it's $65!! :eek:

I would have bought Operation: Livecrime the other day but it was too expensive, and considering I've had the video for years I'm not in much of a rush for it.

i got the 2 cd version. Mostly because I didnt want to spend 65 bucks on a band i dont even know if i like yet lol

i think ill go back to JB after xmas and get Operation Livecrime. Will shit be open here on boxing day?
