Testament - Dark Roots of Thrash (CD/DVD)

The DVD editing is atrocious. The sound quality is, however, amazing. Can't tell just how "live in the studio" it may be yet, but no gripes on the audio portion really.

The editing of the DVD is full of quasi-artsy shots with shaky camera (seriously people you weren't filming The Bourne Ultimatum nor Battlestar Galactica, quit it with the shake and zoom crap), and slow-mo shots, unnecessarily obscenely quick cuts, and places where the video seems to be out of sync with the audio (especially for vocals, but sometimes guitar riffing too). Like guitar solos with the guitar neck just out of frame. Split-screening crap.

All 3 Opeth DVDs run rings around this in terms of editing. Hell, their last release Live in London, runs circles around this for the video itself.

I mean, why do video editors for DVDs suck so bad? Use less cameras, less cuts, and have someone who actually knows the material edit it please. And zoom in on the guitar more for solos.
