So what has everyone been getting as of late???

just today I got my order from Sounds of Purgatory (Heaven and Hell Records) and Pure Steel Records.

Ostrogoth - "Ecstasy and Danger"

here is a sample.....

Roxxcalibur - "Lords of NWOBHM"

Attack - "Warriors of Time" great classic german bands best of. Thier CD's are super OOP and high price. This will be the only cheap way to hear a bulk of thier music for a while.

Overlorde SR - "Medieval Metal Too" - re-issue from Heaven and Hell Records of classic US band.

Christian Mistress - "Possession"

Axevyper - "Metal Crossfire"

This year has been VERY slow for me unfortunately.
Only 2012 release I have gotten thus far is the UNISONIC EP, which is great!
(well, and the CIRITH UNGOL "Servants of Chaos" collection reissue too!)

Spent way too much this weekend:

Christian Mistress - Possession
Saviours - Death's Procession
Whiplash - Power and Pain/Ticket to Mayhem
Redemption - This Mortal Coil
Tank - This Means War (Metal Mind)
Superchrist - Heavy Metal Tonight
Cirith Ungol - One Foot in Hell
Van Der Graaf Generator - H to HE (Vinyl Reissue)

Surprising there are a few really great record stores in Columbus, OH. One that has a very extensive metal section. Also dropped off some Ragnarokkr flyers.

Warrel Dane - Praises to the War Machine
Dantesco - Pagano
Decrepit Birth - Polarity
Emperor - Emperial Live Ceremony
Future's End - Memoirs of a Broken Man
Hammerfall - Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken
Hammerfall - One Crimson Night
Hammerfall - Steel Meets Stee: Ten Years of Glory
In Solitude - The World. The Flesh. The Devil.
Iron Fire - Revenge
Kamelot - Ghost Opera (Limited CD/DVD Edition)
Kamelot - THe Black Halo
Kamelot - One Cold Winter's Night
Manowar - Fighting the World
Nocturnal Fear - Code of Violence
Ram - Death
Rhapsody - Symphony of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret
Rhapsody - Tales From the Emerald Sword Saga
Rhapsody of Fire - Triumph or Agony
Skeletal Spectre - Tomb Coven
Sonata Arctica - Reckoning Night
Space Eater - Afterchock
The Simpsons Movie Soundtrack (gotta have this!)

On the way in the mail:
The Devil's Blood - Come Reap
Witch Mountain - South of Salem

Which HALF PRICE books?

My brother has been telling me for years that I NEED to go there, but I haven't.

He finds all these punk CDs there all the time for $1.

The one I went to yesterday was in Naperville. It just opened about a month ago. I usually frequent the one in Bloomingdale since I live pretty close to it, but I've been to all of them in Illinois.

You definitely should get to one, there clearance section is great sometimes and bad sometimes but $1-$3 cds is a great deal.

www.hpb.com and find one of the 6 closest to you.

That Fifth Angel CD is really good. Great guitar playing.

After the Iced Earth show last night I had to go pick up the new album Dystopia. The new singer was phenomenal in both singing skill and also being a frontman. Anyone who was doubting (like me) should at least check it out.

I love a lot of the classic prog bands but Van der Graaf Generator I just could never get into. Even though I didn't go, I was one of those doubting Iced Earth before I listened to the new album and while it took a while, it grew on me and love it. I truly didn't know Stu could do those type of vocals and REALLY makes me think he underused his talents in Into Eternity.
