New CD's that you have gotten recently

well they are both lackluster

LOL - In for the kill as always!!!

Never heard Savatage in the Lefay stuff I heard, but they have so many albums and lineup changes so it wouldn;t surprise me.

Still wouldnt be enough for me to explore them any further than I have. sometimes you know a band isn't for you.

When a band doesn't do it live, I rarely give them a second chance.

From the metal market all purchased with money from selling some stuff. All CD's were $3-$5.

Battle Ram - Long Live the Ram
Dantesco - 7 Years of Battle
Death - Human
Excel - Split Image
Jag Panzer - The Age of Mastery
Nightmare (Columbia) - About to Explode

Never understood the hate for this album at all.

Glen Hughes, Iommi, Eric Singer, etc.........

Some great tracks on this album.

Had it on vinyl when it first came out!!
Never had it on CD, though it seems like it was just re-released.
Picked it up at Best Buy for $5.99. Couldn't pass it up.

Livin' on the street....I'm no straaaaanger to love.
I got the same reissue. Reissuing albums like this for $6? You got a customer in me. Seems to be a straight re-release; I'm not even sure it was remastered or anything.

Yeah, I don't think its a remaster.
Just seems like a re release of the original Warner Bros CD.

I dont think this ever had a proper remaster aside from the CASTLE ones.
Those remasters, though legal, were not 100% band authorized.

Some great tracks on this album.

It is one of the few Sabbath albums I do not own on vinyl, but I have had the CD for a decade. It's okay, but is one of the lesser played albums from them for me (I even play Technical Ecstasy, Forbidden, and Never Say Die more, but to be fair there is some gold on those albums). The 1996 DEP Sessions and Fused are much, much more solid Hughes/Iommi material and I really hope they do more work together in the future.

This one surprises me for you.

I read an article on them in Iron Fist and heard a lot of good buzz. Then I listened to a few tracks on youtube and like it so I figured I'd check out an album. I am really looking forward to listening to it.

Black/death metal is tough for me to get into but there are a few bands (like Death) and now this one that I like when the time is right.

A lot of purists are hating this album. I like it quite a bit, though not as much as their previous work.
