I discovered Hour of Penance not too long ago...Roman death metal band. Pretty good too...no technical wankery, just solid, groovy, double kick death metal. Kinda reminds me of the first Decapitated.

yeah, Hour of Penance is alright. The new album was much better than the older stuff which was kinda mid-tier.

A lot of ppl didn't like 34.788%, but I thought it was great. Annalisa doesn't like anything after Like Gods of the Sun, mainly due to the fact that she's in love with the violin on all the previous ones and wants them to bring it back.

I tease her about her classical training in elitism.
