I've been listening to Agents of Oblivion a lot the past few days (since I finally own an official copy for the first time). There are a few amazing tracks on that record. He's got a great voice.

new album out today. opinion pending....some good songs, others are eh. His solo efforts, along with the last Deadboy album, have been very hit or miss. I think he will really deliver something special on his next effort.

i'm listening to the preview on amazon and it sounds amazing. generally more spacious than the earthy density of the last couple of albums (which, while somewhat uneven, were REALLY GREAT in their best moments)

glad he is doing something new-ish again because the last album was basically we are night sky II

I really enjoyed the Blood or Love album. I mean it doesn't hold up to the amazing stuff (Kite String, If This is Hell), but he's one of those dudes that even with the average stuff you're guaranteed a god damn good time.

When The Kite String Pops is quite possibly the greatest album ever released. It's the only thing in my music collection that scares the shit out of me. Also, when (not if) I go on my murder spree, it will be the soundtrack I use for inspiration.
