Heard the album in it's entirety a couple weeks ago, I wasn't really into it to be honest, but I have sort of moved away from DM stuff in general so it's probably not a fair opinion.

Samples sounds much better. The mix is decent, guitars + bass are killer, drums are buried but sound pretty natural. What's with the vocals though? Really static highend.

I LOVE the snare on Organic Hallicunosis.. it's really 'squishy'.. hard hitting on backbeats, but when it comes to fills and blasts it all blurs together, making the blasts really pleasant to listen to, which blasts aren't usually, IMO.

That track makes me want to smash people up, nothing i've heard from the new album makes me even move, maybe it will be different when i hear the whole album, but so far i'm not really THAT excited

Wow!! The mix on the new album slays!! Sounds so natural and so powerful!
It's like we're inside a rehearsal room with optimal conditions and optimal performance. Can't wait to listen to the whole stuff.
Excellent drum work, but I am under the impression Vitek will be missed... His drumming was a bit more intricate.

I'm excited about the new album but I don't believe it's gonna be as good as Organic Hallucinosis.
OH is just a masterpiece. Best metal sounding production ever

I'm doubting it's going to top OH, but that sampler does bring hope. There are some damned groovy riffs in there - probably enough so to make it the first metal record I'd bother listening to since Obzen.

Anyone else finding the leads kind of pointless though?

Doesn't bother me (the leads)
The band is very much a rhythmic focused band, don't really listen to them for the leads or any melodic kinda things

I actually feel like the riffs and guitar playing is quite lazy overall. Nothing memorable for me. Guess they were more inspired and wrote cooler riffs when they were going through puberty.
