Hello everyone. Im a new fan of Amon Amarth and they are already my favorite band. What are some cds you would suggest? I own their live 3 disc DVD and I also own Fate Of Norns.

Get With Oden On Our Side right now! It's awesome, and from the oldest albums, my favourite is The Avenger, but you should listen to this cd before buying it because the style was a bit different when they started, more brutal.

With Oden on Our Side
Followed by:
Versus the World.
If you prefer the more raw, black metal-ish production, go for the earlier albums, such as:
Once Sent From the Golden Hall.
now i love u as much as i love that album
that album is my fav. by them,
it contains the sickest solos ever (spically Ride For Vengeance), the original amon amarth concert theme, as well as the dvd theme too,
it has victorious march

Haha...my best friend's birthday was the other day, I got her Fate of Norns. She doesn't like metal, but I got it for her anyway.

I got started on Vs. The World. Fate of Norns actually took me a while to get into, but now I like it. But I do agree that any album from Amon Amarth is great. I rate Amon Amarth albums on how many times I get chills listening to it and so far The Crusher is my favorite.

Guys don't forget Sorrow Throughout the Nine Worlds. No one has mentioned it so far, yet it's the one that got me really into AA.
