The band has just finished the recording of the new album in Abyss Studios with producer Peter Tãgtren. After 1 month of intense working in Sweden, the long sought for album entitled "Sons of Northern Darkness" will hit the shops world wide on the 4th of February 2002 through Nuclear Blast Records. Captain Abbath Doom Occulta had the following to say to immortal.nu concerning the new material: "S.O.N.D. is a metal warparty from beginning to end and rise the banner of true fucking metal up high!". Yes indeed, and more info will follow on these very pages concerning the new album as soon as we have it.


About time they updated the page!!! Long wait to get it yet though..... Let's hope they go back to the sound on ATHOW or Battles...
