I've never really listened to Manowar...now I can see why.
All I've ever heard was how badass they were, and how pretentious they are for trying to father "true" metal. The musicianship is good, but some of the songs on here are just....GAY! They're worse than 80's glam rock...they remind me of the joke songs that Trey Parker and Matt Stone come up with on South Park and Baseketball. There are a few decent cuts, but for the most part it's pretty sad. Nevermore and Iced Earth do it better.
Maybe their old stuff was really good, I'll check some of that out if it is...but if it's like this, I'd rather shove hot pokers in my eyes.
