We tracked it Ourselves, Dave Otero did Drum replacement reamping and mixing and mastering.

1984 gibson reissue with emgs-keeley modded ts(something)-5150 and Mesa dual rec( I think) He reamped the entire ablum about 6 times to trying to find the best tone, mabey he will chime in and fill you in on exactly what the amps were in the final mix.

Let us know what you think.

Sounds huge, I dig the drums' sound. I think the guitars have a bit too much mids or low mids and tend to fight with the vocals which in turn sound surpressed. The kick sounds awesome.

The music is pretty cool, though some parts sound slightly too chaotic for me.

Thanks dude, This is the first time we've ever tracked everything ourselves and didnt get the real Producer one on one point of view that probably would have cleared up a bunch of things but due to our minuscule budget that's the way things had to be done... We feel like Otero went above and beyond for us. You would laugh if you heard the tracks before he got ahold of them. Hey defiantly worked some magic, and we give him major props.

Yeah, he definitely knows what he's doing, you've made the right choice to spend the extra money to take advantage of his experience and Barefoot monitors :p

Sounds good to me man. The vocals are buried in the mix tho, at least in the beginning. The drums are maybe even too on the top of the mix, but as a drummer, I don't mind since your drummer is good. The drums also sound great.

It sounds like you guys are really beginning to take form. I remember hearing you before and thought your influences were too obviously mirrored in your music, there were even some riffs I could have sworn I had heard before. But now it sounds more original. I'm waiting to hear more of your stuff later!

thanks guys! I'm stocked to hear that i was really worried our lack of time In the real studio was gonna hurt things so im happy to hear you guys say that! woohoo!:kickass:
