New Mix - Devil Wears Prada ish (Revalver)

Like the others, I'd say vocals need to be down. Also, the toms need a little more resonance, they sound like they end too quickly, and in the beginning, I'd turn up the backing guitar track that is under the lead guitar.

Great mix overall!

I've already sent this mix off to the band and they've put it up and seem very happy with it so I'm not gonna be changing anything.

The drums are Midi programmed triggering Slate samples, I can't remember which samples exaclty as I mixed them down. The cymbals are real, sent to a bus then Compressed, Limited and EQ. Then another cymbal bus has Reverb and a high pass at around 1khz so I could control the high end on the mixer.

The guitars are TSS > Multiband Compressor (Sneap Settings) > Revalver (6505 Red Channel) into the onboard cab (Catharsis Fredman spreshigh). Lots of surgical EQ around 2-4 khz and a high and low pass.

Vocals are all compressed very hard on their individual channels, then sent to a bus with a Limitier > DeEsser > EQ > Reverb > Delay I think.

Cheers for the kind words guys. I'll take down the reverb a bit next time.
