Just asked Jeff what they're tracking guitars through... He says Engl SE and a hot rodded 5150. It will be interesting to see if Andy likes those tones or will just reamp! It sounds pretty nice and chunky on those clips, although they are cell phone recordings.

Really? According to my WMP info (yes I downloaded it, but legally from Amazon mp3, thank you ) Smyth co-wrote Bittersweet Feast, Sell my Heart for Stones, and A Future Uncertain, and I really dig those songs! (especially the last one, it's one of my favorites on the album tbh)

I am so excited to be hearing these samples.

...and you can put me down for another person who loves the songs Smyth wrote. Honestly, I love every single song on TGE, and it is one of those albums I can just listen to the entire way through and not be bored or want to skip anything. I think A Future Uncertain is my current favourite song on the album for sure...

Can't wait for this new album. I would love to hear it with the 5150/SE combo, but at the same time, if Sneap is going to mix it, then I don't mind if he re-amps through whatever he wants, because his record with Nevermore before has been some of the best production I can ever imagine.
